The Barn is located in the heart of natural
open space surrounded by cornfields and open air. This secluded area is
picture-perfect for open air weddings, and although it feels as though
you’ve arrived out in the middle of country farmland, we are only 2
minutes outside of Hastings.
Since 1994 the grounds have been the home place for Barn Festivals, and an occasional open air concert.

We will not rent separate areas on the weekend for multiple parties.
The Stable Barn
The Stable Barn is the largest indoor space on the property. It includes the main floor and a loft that overlooks the main floor. There is seating for approximately 130 indoors, and more if you use the boardwalks outdoors and grassy areas for seating. This is the area for dining. Includes tables and chairs, but not the linens. Rental Price available from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm for an evening wedding, or 8:00 am until 10:00 pm for afternoon weddings.
Early Move-In: If you are interested in having the Rehearsal and/or Rehearsal Dinner the evening before, or to begin decorating early, you are welcome to do so providing the facility is not being rented by another party. There will be an early move-in hourly fee applied. We will not be able to guarantee the early move in until 4 weeks prior to wedding day.
Stage with open air Grassy Area
This is a perfect area for the wedding ceremony. The stage makes a beautiful rustic backdrop and the acoustics are wonderful. Sound system will be provided (you must have a designated person run the sound) as well as white chair seating for up to 250. More chairs are available for an additional charge. Available from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm for evening wedding, or 8:00 am until 10:00 pm for an afternoon wedding:
The 20 x 20 covered Dance Floor is open air, attached to the Stable Barn (a big overhead door is opened on the East end). White icicle lights are included in this wonderful open air dance floor. Soooooo much fun!
This is a cozy, informal true to the sense 'Barn' that is available for extra seating for the meal on the main level, and the loft is also available, either for more seating or for the wedding party to enter the wedding ceremony. It is quite a grandeos entrance for the wedding party to enter through the loft of the Cottage Barn (see photos and video). A great 'hang-out place for the guys. It also could be used as a lounge setting for guests to visit over cocktails and appetizers before or after the ceremony if you did not want the guests to go directly into the dining area.
3rd Floor Loft Bridal Room
A wedding day can be a bit of a whirlwind. But, you couldn’t ask for anything better than to have a secluded place for the bride, and all her ladies-in-waiting, to unwind together while getting dressed and pampered before the ceremony. A private bathroom with whirlpool, couch, tanning bed, chi machine, treadmill and mirrors.. Not to mention, a small refrigerator ready to be loaded with beverage and goodie indulgences. For afternoon weddings, this room is available from 8:00 am until 1 hour after the ceremony ends. For evening weddings, this room is available from 10:00 am until 1 hour after the ceremony ends. This room needs to be cleaned back to its original state immediately following the ceremony. If the wedding party is out getting photos after the ceremony, a designated person will need to be responsible for removing all personal property from the room. The Barn will not be responsible for any lost items.
Small 3rd Floor Loft bedroom
A great room for the Mother of the bride and her besties, or her husband...which ever is the most important on this awesome day! Also could be a great groom get-away! Has a queen size bed and a cozy chaise. For afternoon weddings, this room is available from 8:00 am until 1 hour after the ceremony ends. For evening weddings, this room is available from 10:00 am until 1 hour after the ceremony ends. This room needs to be cleaned back to its original state immediately following the ceremony. If the wedding party is out getting photos after the ceremony, a designated person will need to be responsible for removing all personal property from the room, leaving it in the condition it was found. The Barn will not be responsible for any lost items.
2nd floor living, dining and kitchen area
Now you are going to REALLY feel at home. This is a great 'hang out' area for the wedding party to 'chill' and enjoy relaxing in the comforts of 'home'. You are able to feed the wedding party from our lovely 'gourmet' kitchen with big island and seating for 18, but more if needed. Guys can enjoy watching their favorite sport on our satellite network station while the girls are getting ready upstairs. Small Restroom on this level for guys if they need to get ready. For afternoon weddings, the 2nd floor is available from 8:00 am until 1 hour after the ceremony ends. For evening weddings, the 2nd floor is available from 10:00 am until 1 hour after the ceremony ends. This floor needs to be cleaned back to its original state immediately following the ceremony. A designated person will need to be responsible for removing all personal property from the 2nd floor, leaving it in the condition that it was found. The Barn will not be responsible for any lost items.
3 Compartment Frozen Drink Machine
Anything frozen is a refreshing beverage to serve at an outdoor wedding. Perfect for Frozen Lemonade Drink, Frappuccinos, use your imagination...or, we will provide delicious drinks of your choice for a fee. We will take care of Set Up and Cleaning of the machine. 3 Compartment Machine...holds total of 7.5 gallons.

Our Event Coordinator is at your disposal to answer questions related to your rental at the Barn, and is the key player as you plan your occasion. The informational support you receive assures that your plans for the property is smoothly and efficiently synchronized, delivering just what you had envisioned. You’re provided a diagram of the surrounding grounds which identifies the location of the ceremony area, stage, buildings and parking area. Dimensions of the upper (Loft) and lower levels of the Barns are provided, allowing you to plan seating, tables, serving, etc.
The Event Coordinator will tentatively reserve the Barn to allow you time to tour the location, grounds and buildings.
• At the tour time, the contract will be agreed upon and the date will be secured upon receipt of the fully executed, signed contract and receipt of fifty percent (50%) deposit of the rental fee.
• The reservation of the date will only be extended by agreement with the Event Coordinator.
• Final remaining rental fee must be paid six (6) months prior to your contract date.
• The decision to reserve the Bridal Room or additional rental must be made and paid no later than thirty (30) days prior to your contract date.
• For contracts executed within six months of date, one-hundred percent (100%) of rental fee is required.
• If you wish to cancel a fully executed contract within seven (7) to fourteen (14) months prior to your contract date, you will receive a 50% refund of deposits received.
• If you cancel within six (6) months prior to the contract date, you will forfeit one-hundred percent (100%) of deposits received.
